8 Rainforest Spirit's Cape Tribulation Tour

Departing early from centre of town, a fun and truly local tour guide will greet you with the friendly smile!  Firstly a  brief introduction about the days intinerary and Adventure to come!

Our first destination is ”Palm Cove Beach”, where we observe wallabies and kangaroos in their natural habitat, and check-out the luxurious beach of PALM COVE!

We then venture North to the cool touristic town of PORT DOUGLAS! It is here guests have the time to wander the streets checking out the shops and the true local ambiance of the bars and pubs. We also find some time to look out the famous four-mile beach of Port Douglas. ”Lets catch some rays and relax!”

Continuing to the beautiful MOSSMAN GORGE!  Its time to put on your swimmers for a  refreshing swim in the amazing  mountain river!

We then proceed on to the notorious ”crocodile infested DAINTREE RIVER” where we board a small sea vessel  sightseeing crocodiles, snakes and extensive bird and marine life. During this time your local tour guide will attempt to catch some fresh river Mud Crab for dinner!! HOPEFULLY!

After the croc’tour, we embark the Daintree river ferry  to cross the River! Then on to the spectacular THORNTON PEAK scenic lookout for breathtaking photos of the oldest, low lying tropical rainforest in the world! This is truly a unique location where the rainforest meets the reef!

Our tour then continues north to CAPE TRIBULATION and along the way guests have the slight, but very possible chance, of sighting a highly rare and endangered bird called the ”Cassowary”.

Arriving at our final destination: A Cape Tribulation beach hostel, where we will have lunch and chill out on the beach and take a small educational guided bushwalk through the rainforest.

After a big adventurous day we cruise back to Cairns listening to a variety of music! As guests have the opportunity to play some of their own personal music on the bus!  Being such a small and personal tour group, a bar invitational offer will be offered to guests to join in some fun and drinking at a local venue.
