These flight occur only from the heart of the reefs themselves providing you with a view of the reef that few ever see. We will give you as breathtaking view of the Great Barrier Reef and you will be surprised by the sheer size of the reef as it stretches off into the horizon. Every reef is different and have their own colour and marine wildlife. Not sure what you will be looking at? Out enthusiastic pilots and crew will be able to answer most questions and provide an in-flight commentary. Green Island Scenic Flight
If your time is limited, or you don't enjoy boat travel, this is the perfect way to experience the true beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. On this thirty minute flight, you will head towards Green Island. A circuit of Green Island will allow you to photograph this picturesque island and its surrounding reef, then you will fly over Arlington reef and past Upolo Cay, on your return flight to Cairns. The tour is available morning and afternoons and includes complimentary accommodation transfers

Deluxe Reef Scenic
Flight A little more time on this forty minute flight, but a lot more reef! This deluxe Reef experience is a great way to enjoy the true beauty and size of the Great Barrier Reef. After taking off from Cairns you will fly to Green Island, where photographic opportunities abound. After circling Green Island and its surrounding reef, its over to Arlington Reef, where the extra ten minutes flight time will allow you to explore the reef and its marine life a little longer, including the possibility of touching down on Vlassoff Cay. You will then return to Cairns, passing Upolo Cay on the return flight. The tour is available morning and afternoons and includes complimentary accommodation transfers

Deluxe Reef and Rainforest Scenic Flight

On your sixty minute flight you will fly over Cairns to the surrounding mountains of the Great Dividing Range. Passenger Weight Policy:
Due to Aviation Weight Restrictions a clients body and luggage weights must be advised prior to the reservation being confirmed. Should a client advise a weight variance of more than 10%, the right is reserved to charge a 100% cancellation fee.

Childs Rate Policy:
One (1) infant under their 3rd birthday may travel free of charge if seated on a guardian’s lap. Maximum one infant per helicopter as per CASA regulations.
Child 3 years and above pay full fare.

Pontoon Based Scenic Flights:
Cancellation policy applies to these flights.

Insurance:
Cairns Heli-scenic carries full insurance including Public Liability Insurance of $20,000,000.00.

Minimum passenger numbers:
Bookings on tours will be confirmed on a minimum of two (2) passengers

Fuel Surcharge:
With fluctuations in world oil prices, it may be necessary to apply a fuel surcharge to the ticket price. In such cases any charge will be collected on departure.

Payment:
All reservations will be held only if full pre-payment has been received in Australian Dollars, unless credit facilities have been previously arranged.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the flight to receive a full 100% refund.
