With a stable of over 70 quiet and gentle horses, Blazing Saddles offers a safe and relaxing way to see the rainforest. With horses to suit all levels and ages (minimum age 4 years) this is a perfect family adventure. We use the highest standard of equipment including Saferider safety stirrups with a quick release mechanism.

Our horses have a friendly nature and will be matched to each riders experience and ability. We cater for beginners and experienced.

Our horse-riding trails meander through beautiful bushland and rainforest, allowing you to get in amongst nature and experience it first hand. We have lookouts that provide awesome views of our gorgeous coast line and local beaches.Secure booking button

Our trails are perfect for absolute beginner riders through to the more experienced rider. We hand pick your horse for your particular skill level, provide you with a safety and introductory riding lesson and then split groups into skill levels so as to ensure you have a safe and fun horse riding experience.

Our emphasis on safety is well known around these parts so please look through our safety accreditation from the Australian Horse Industry Council and other safety systems in place.

What to bring
For safety reasons you should bring the following clothes and provisions; Long pants Covered shoes (no thongs or trail sandals, runners are OK)
At least a T-Shirt (no Singlets or sleeveless shirts)

Optional items that may be helpful
Sunscreen, Bush hat or truckers hat, Sunglasses, socks

8.30am	1.30pm	Pickup at your accommodation
9.00am	2.00pm	Arrive at Blazing Saddles, Kuranda.Our friendly staff will greet you with Morning / Afternoon Tea and go through some formalities
9.30am	2.30pm	Helmets fitted and HORSES assigned and Safety lesson
11.30am	4.30pm	Return to Blazing Saddles BBQ lunch (AM) / Home-style meal (PM)
12.30pm	5.30pm	Return to accommodation

Customers are required to sign a 'waiver of liability' form.

Transfer Details

We have a free transfer service that will pick you up and drop you off at your accommodation in Cairns, the Northern Beaches and even Port Douglas
